Leslie's Poolmart is Hiring a Remote Commercial Inside Sales Representative

Job Overview:

Leslie’s Pro Commercial Division is looking for several salespeople who have sold top quality products and services and can bring greater value to managers of small businesses. You must be willing to prospect, build relationships, be a good problem solver, and know how to close. The candidate for this position should be a self-starter, be highly motivated, and be a team player. This position is a very collaborative and dynamic role within the organization that holds limitless growth and opportunity.

Job Duties:

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with all key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, provide technical information and explanations.
  • Account maintenance, review customer’s buying history. Suggests related and new items and explains the fundamentals of differing products to best suit customer needs.
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
  • Enlists the support of all company resources that include, but are not limited to; implementation, service, safety, fleet, inventory, loss prevention, as well as sales and management resources as needed.
  • Closely coordinates involvement with the Commercial Service Center management.
  • Ensures that the Commercial Service team is aligned to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet or exceed company standards.
  • Completes required training and development objectives within assigned periods.
  • Supports the Commercial Service Center’s growth and performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • An Associate’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Communications, or Public Relations is a plus
  • 1 – 3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Sales Consulting, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Sales Operations, or as an Account Representative
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge for providing customer and personal services, assessing customer needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction
  • Use of strategic analysis and systematic thinking to evaluate problems to offer best solutions.
  • Able to establish and maintain company/customer relationships
  • Ability to source and obtain information from credible, relevant resources
  • Must have strong negotiation skills and be customer focused
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Must exhibit teamwork and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be confident in decision-making
  • Promote positive employee and customer outcomes
  • Ability to work under pressure

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, or sales control systems is preferred
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a plus
  • Experience with CRM software
