Leroy Fox is adding to our growing team, and we're looking for our next great Sous Chef to lead our Kitchen crew and be a shining example of productivity and teamwork. As part of our leadership team, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining direct communication w/ BOH team & senior management
• Ensure proper opening/closing procedures are followed
• Coordinating orders with the kitchen team
• Observance of communicated food allergies and food safety standards
• Assign daily work stations, ensure cleanliness, and manage breaks

Here at Leroy Fox, we encourage you to learn the art of each and every station (fry, saute/grill, inside expo, salads). Once you have learned that station, the ingredients that are a part of that station, and the execution of that station, you are able to begin training on the next, creating a constant cycle of increasing knowledge. You'll also need great communication and leadership skills, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and be able to complete basic math used in cooking and/or recipe preparation.

On all stations, you will be expected to:

• Prepare all food in timely, sanitary manner.
• 100% responsible for quality.
• Proper plate presentations.
• Track and report food waste.
• Handle, store and rotate product. (FIFO, first in; first out.)

Although all of our staff starts by learning to execute the fry station, we offer you the experience to learn all stations one step at a time. While the front of the house staff are the drivers on the journey, the kitchen staff is equivalent to the mechanics of a well-oiled machine.
