Job Description
LCG is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (S-BA) who will work with a team of technical and non-technical SMEs through all phases of the software development lifecycle. The S-BA is responsible for serving as a product owner for a Federal system. They will be engaged with clients across the organization at multiple levels of leadership to define and improve processes, elicit requirements, and help recommend and document technical solutions.
Experience working in an IT organization is preferred, as well as experience with Agile Scrum and other IT frameworks and approaches. Experience with different development technologies and automated testing processes is desired.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of the client processes and procedures and assist with making improvements relative to technology.
Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and application delivery.
Communicate and follow up regularly and effectively with management and team members as to the status of various tasks, including regular reporting and presenting during status update meetings.
Coordinate communication and follow up with external clients and release processes.
Assist the project manager in the development and tracking of project related artifacts.
Identify and document project requirements for development efforts including generating wire frames/user stories that corroborate the project requirements and obtaining feedback.
Development of standard documentation – requirements specifications, use cases, design specifications, test plans and experience with test scripts and other supporting system documentation.
Research, recommend, develop, and implement templates, artifacts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and business processes to deliver on tasks related to the PMO support.
Support users through training and documentation, as well as provide one-on-one technical assistance.
Experience in balancing and prioritizing multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment and to coordinate amongst diverse program stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5 years of relevant work experience
Experience with Requirement and Testing Tools
Compliance/Accessibility testing/508
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate with both technical and business users
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Agile Certification is a plus (Scrum, Product Owner, etc.)
Experience with Jira, or other similar project tracking tools
Familiarity with Collaborative Solutions/M365 Products/MS Teams.
