In this role you will collaborate with product owners, stakeholders and an Agile engineering team to solicit, elaborate, and document business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have experience working on IT software infrastructure projects, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. Candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The primary work location is in Rockville, MD with occasional client visits in Washington, D.C. In this role you will:Lead requirement discussions to document, analyze and translate functional and non-functional business requirements into project specifications, business process diagrams and workflowsWork with client Product Owners and other stakeholders to develop and validate user stories and prioritiesDevelop UI mockups using tools such as BalsamiqMaintain requirements traceability and document change requestsParticipate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Scrum Meetings and other agile activitiesCreate or update project deliverables, artifacts and technical specifications in accordance with client requirementsSupport the Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure thoroughness of test strategies and scenariosAssist the team with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutionsDemonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to project schedulesQualificationsMandatory Requirements:(W2 only, no c2c or third party inquiries please)Minimum of 5 years business analysis experience in a structured software development environmentExcellent understanding of the software development life cycleMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to understand and document technical IT requirementsMust be able to attain a Public Trust clearance.
