This Accounts Payable Specialist role is a great opportunity for anyone interested in joining the finance accounting support team for the largest professional services firm based in TN! New hires will be responsible for coding, obtaining approvals and keying vendor invoices as well as processing weekly check/EFT runs and reports for the LBMC PC. LBMC Is a hybrid workplace and new hires will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of professional and personal development and networking opportunities both in-person and remote.
SCOPE OF WORK

• Responsible for Accounts Payable using accounting software and other programs for multiple entities
• Ensuring bills are coded, approved, and paid in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensuring employee expense reimbursements are coded properly and processed for payment
• Research any vendor and employee payment discrepancies
• New vendor setup
• Serve as AR backup for deposits as needed
• Provide backup support for Finance team members
• Adheres to LBMC’s defined processes and procedures including the firm's policy on privacy and client confidentiality.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance 
• 2-3 years’ internal accounting work experience
• MS Office Products experience and basic technical skills
• Attention to detail, high level of organization, intuitive problem-solver, and time management
