What is the role? 

The people services team provides excellent operational HR service to theKalibrate business, including but not limited to payroll, benefit administration, HRpolicies and procedures, HR systems, operational reporting, legal and regulatorycompliance, employee queries, and workplace experience.The People Services team achieves operational excellence through continuousprocess improvement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; maybe required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Oversee and manage supplier relationships and tools for delivery of payroll and US benefits.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with all 401k processes, including year end tax preparations and audits.
  • Provides wellbeing support by creating learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Works with immigration attorneys to help facilitate or determine US state and federal domicile status
  • Execute the organization’s human resources and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

What would we like you to bring to the (virtual) table?

  • Have 5 years experience in a managing HR function, preferably in a techenvironment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fieldrequired.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
