Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in the growth and expansion of our company by using their technical and sales expertise to provide high-quality service to our clients. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, sales ability, and customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to clients, demonstrating how our products meet their needs, and providing after-sales support. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
2. Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
3. Researching, studying, and understanding different types of products in the company.
4. Preparing and delivering technical presentations explaining our products to customers and prospective customers.
5. Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements.
6. Plan and modify products to meet customer needs.
7. Help clients solve problems with installed equipment.
8. Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production.
9. Help in researching and developing new products.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineer.
3. Strong technical knowledge of our product range and our competitors' products.
4. Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
6. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
7. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
8. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
9. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
11. Valid driver’s license for travel to client locations.
