Job Description

The LiveCompare Sales Engineer/Solution Architect will be responsible for presenting LiveCompare technology to both business and technical users. Articulating the business benefits and technical advantages is a key component to assisting the sales team. The candidate must understand how to position the product within an SAP ecosystem. This will require the candidate be able to understand the SAP environment and speak to specific SAP activities that would drive usage of the LiveCompare technology. Must be able to uncover and understand customer pain points and be able to offer solutions based on their specific challenges. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the technical sales cycle in support of the Sales Executive, understanding the customer environment and pain points and articulate the value proposition of the LiveCompare solution.
• Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations.
• Responsible for representing the product to customers and partners, online and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
• Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs and SOWs.
• Able to complete pilot activities and presentations.
• Inform Sales Team members of potential customer problems and/or revenue potential.
• Able to travel throughout sales territory

Qualifications

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in implementing technology solutions and knowledge of software sales. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.

Specific attributes include:

• 3-5 years relevant experience working with technical sales, product management, and marketing team.
• Expertise or experience in SAP is required - SAP Technical Analyst, SAP Developer, SAP change/release manager
• Someone who understands both the technical and business aspects of SAP
• Familiarity with Testing Applications a plus
• A B.S. in Computer Science, Business or a related field is strongly preferred
• SQL coding experience
• A record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable sales role
• A desire to work in a team environment for a growing market leader
