Salary Range: $83,000 - $87,000

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Email Marketing Manager to join our team and play a critical role in driving success through strategic email marketing initiatives. The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s email strategy, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring email campaigns are compliant, personalized, and deliver exceptional results. This position works directly with our Marketing Accounts Team members to reach and convert target audiences to drive participation, enrollment and engagement across all audiences. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create, implement, and optimize comprehensive lifecycle and ad hoc marketing campaigns that focus on retention, engagement, and conversion.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that target specific audiences and achieve campaign objectives.
• Proactively develop and maintain a comprehensive email database strategy for segmentation, personalization, audience growth and campaign effectiveness.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the quality and health of the email database.
• Constantly A/B test and refine email messaging, subject lines, and creative elements to maximize open and click-through rates.
• Define and implement data-driven segmentation strategies to improve email targeting and engagement.
• Proofread and write content for emails including subject lines and preheaders.
• Create lifecycle journey messaging templates for different use cases.
• Analyze results, create reports, gain insights, share out learnings, and continually iterate and optimize key metrics (open rate, click rate, conversion rate, etc.).
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance, identifying trends and insights to optimize future campaigns.
• Create compelling content and designs for email campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
• Manage strict timelines across the email marketing calendar and secure key stakeholders for review and approvals.
• Manage content calendar across the various program areas for consistency, frequency and reach of key programs and events.
• Work cross-functionally (Business Systems, Program Team, Marketing) to improve journey implementation and automation.
• Other email marketing duties and responsibilities as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience 
• 3 years of experience in email marketing 
• Proficiency in the email marketing platform Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder and email automation 
• Proficiency building reports using Salesforce CRM
• Expert-level knowledge of MS Excel. Must have experience in data analysis and manipulation using tools to derive meaningful insights. 
• Strong analytical skills, experience with campaign performance tracking and reporting to stakeholders
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills 
• Creativity and attention to detail in developing compelling email content and designs 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple campaigns and deadlines 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are typical of an office environment. A hybrid work schedule of up to 50% remote work is available, subject to work requirements and team schedules.
