J2T is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling accounts payable, expense reports, accounts receivable, job costing, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting.
• Proficient in working with accounting systems.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational aptitude.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable, expense reports, accounts receivable, job costing, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare schedules and reports to support cash management, budgets, account reconciliations, and analyses.
• Maintain and update supporting documentation, such as fixed assets schedules.
• Assist in all facets of accounting and the preparation of financial statements in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) within a multi-company environment.
• Review financial data for accuracy, identifying and addressing discrepancies to support seamless day-to-day operations.
• Conduct research and reconcile discrepancies while adhering to established accounting procedures and policies.
• Undertake ad hoc and special projects as required.
• Provide additional support to the accounting team as needed.
