About the Israeli-American Council:
The mission of the Israeli-American Council (IAC) is to build an active and giving Israeli-American community throughout the United States in order to strengthen the State of Israel, our next generation, and to provide a bridge to the Jewish American community.
Job Purpose:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing full range assistance & support to the IAC Austin office. The Operations coordinator reports directly to the Austin Regional Manager.
Duties include and are not limited to:
• Managing all social media: Facebook posts and shares including pic uploads, managing the organization’s Facebook page, Instagram posts and shares.
• Managing and updating the IAC Austin website and other community calendars.
• Planning and scheduling meetings and appointments.
• Answering all general inquiry emails and phones.
• Filing and retrieve corporate documents, reimbursements, records and reports.
• Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems.
• Assisting various administrative aspects of events and educational programs.
• Printing materials.
• May be called upon to assist with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects, as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of related job experience.
• Speaks, reads and writes in English and Hebrew.
• Good operational and administrative management capabilities, ability to lead processes.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite applications.
• Action oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A proactive, energetic attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal, communications skills.
• Social media proficiency necessary.
