6-Month Contract

Must Haves :

• Minimum High school diploma and relative administrative / executive professional experience
• Professional full-time high level administrative support experience providing budget management, payroll, maintaining calendars, and project coordination.
• Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and / or certifications may be considered.
• Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
• Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills

Plusses :

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management or closely related field.
• Higher Education experience
• Experience with Ellucian Banner, Workday, Cognos, and Gulfline

This role involves a range of administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning tasks, including but not limited to budget administration, equipment and facilities management, inventory control, specialized record keeping, and database management.

The individual in this role may also be tasked with specific information-gathering projects. The role includes coordinating and facilitating meetings, program functions, and special events as needed.

The Administrative Assistant II is also responsible for training and supervising staff and / or students and may be tasked with coordinating certain administrative activities and reporting across multiple organizational units within the department.
