HR Media & Co. is seeking a HR Generalist for our client a national foundation to join their team!

The foundation is headquartered in Dallas, TX. The HR Generalist will be based in the Dallas, TX office.
Position Summary
The HR Generalist will manage a variety of human resources functions such as onboarding, orientation, new hire process, org charts, employee relations, employee engagement, performance management, employee handbooks, and staff trainings/workshops. In addition, the HG will serve as a point of contact for employees to answer human resources related questions and provide guidance to employees on human resources related matters.
The ideal candidate will be passionately committed to the foundation's mission and bring a strong mix of experience and skills across human resources, staff development, onboarding, orientation, performance management, and high level of confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
· Manage human resources related functions for the foundation
· Onboard new hires and internal staff including benefits overview, E-Verify, prepare offer letters, conduct background checks, and process new hire documentation
· Offboard employees including exit interviews and handling employee separation matters
· Outline and monitor workforce development program scopes, milestones, timelines, reporting, and budgeting
· Design and facilitate the foundation’s new hire orientation
· Create and revise org charts as needed
· Assist senior management in developing Employee Performance Plans
· Coach employees and managers with employee conduct issues or concerns
· Develop positive employee relations initiatives
· Plan and facilitate ongoing employee trainings and workshops
· Implement an employee engagement and retention strategy
Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree
· Five years experience in human resources, training and development, and organizational development
· Previous experience as a HR Generalist
· HRIS/HRMS systems experience
· Strong project management, problem solving, analytical, coordination, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
· Microsoft Office and SharePoint experience
· Previous experience working for a nonprofit organization a plus
· Previous experience with national workforce development, youth development, national program planning, adult education, and community development a major plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
