Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Accounts Payable Team, providing guidance for smooth and accurate daily operations.
• NetSuite Optimization: Utilize NetSuite expertise to enhance accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor management.
• Vendor Relations: Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with vendors, addressing payment discrepancies and negotiating favorable terms.
• Invoice Oversight: Supervise the efficient processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Payment Management: Manage payment processes, including check runs, electronic payments, and reconciliation, adhering to established schedules.
• Expense Report Supervision: Oversee the processing and approval of employee expense reports in Concur, ensuring adherence to policies and timely reimbursements.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and duplicate payments.
• Month-End Support: Assist in the month-end closing process by reconciling accounts payable ledgers and providing reports to the finance department.
• Audit Collaboration: Collaborate with auditors, providing requested documentation during internal and external audits.
• Reporting: Generate accounts payable reports and metrics, offering insights into department performance.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance accounts payable processes, leveraging NetSuite capabilities for increased efficiency and accuracy.
• Additional Duties as Assigned.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable supervisory role.
• Proven accounts payable experience, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Preferred knowledge of NetSuite or other ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with financial and accounting software.
• Knowledge of audit and compliance standards.
