GP Mobile, a premium T-Mobile provider are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk that will process all invoices received for payment. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day account payables operations.

•Display intense self-motivation with well-developed time management skills
•Achieve and maintain a significant level of knowledge of AP/Accounting processes, methods, and procedures
Primary Role and Responsibilities
•Completes payments and controls expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices, following the company’s policies and procedures.
•Reconciles accounts by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
•Verifies discrepancies and resolves billing issues.
•Generates statements and reports detailing the accounts payable status.
•Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal IDs, scheduling and preparing checks, and reviewing payment discrepancies.
•Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports.
•Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting transactions.
•Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
•Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
•Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
•Hands-on experience with spreadsheets (Excel).
•High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
•Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus.
•Previous accounts payable experience preferred.
