G & C Auto Body is looking for a Director of Human Resources to join our Management Services Team! In this role you will be responsible for all functions of the Human Resources department.
Benefits of the Director of Human Resources position:
  • Pay: $150,000/year (145,000 - 155,000 expected annual compensation.)
  • 401(k) Plan with Company Matching

  • Paid holidays, vacation and sick days
  • Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 30 minute lunch.
Sample Responsibilities of the Director of Human Resources:
  • Analysis and advice on all matter related to human resources and team member relations.
  • Identify, define and implement solutions that address the needs of the business, taking into consideration the broader implications.
  • Assure compliance of retention and record keeping of department files.
  • Provide supervision, evaluation and accountability coaching to supervisors and managers.
  • Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
  • Identify talent issues before they affect the business/
  • Manage team member recognition activities
  • Oversee efficient administration of team member benefits, worker's compensation and unemployment insurance.
  • Additional duties as specified and assigned.
Human Resources Director Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing HR functions and team
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field (preferred)
  • Professional certification in Human Resources: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP
  • Service oriented
  • Effective communicator - bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of California employment law, benefits administration and compliance in a highly regulated sector
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Experience developing and implementing HR initiatives
  • Ability to build best in class systems, processes and implement HR tools
