The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, creating general ledger coding, researching & resolving complex A/P issues for internal customers and vendors, and supporting the department supervisor. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure invoices have proper approvals & back up.
• Process high volume of invoices correctly and in a timely manner.
• Accurate coding of invoices.
• Resolve discrepancies & issues by collaborating with multiple departments, managers and vendors.
• Monthly accrual of freight charges.
• Scanning of paperwork.
• Payment matching, processing & mailing.
• Maintain updated vendor files and file numbers. 
• Assist other A/P Specialists with their duties if needed.
• Other miscellaneous projects & duties as assigned. 

Education & Experience:

• 4 year’s full cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 1 years of SAP experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel & Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP Concur invoice experience preferred
