OnIT is Hiring a Sales Development Representative Near Houston, TX

Onit is looking for a motivated, intelligent, and driven Account Specialist (Senior SDR) to join the Commercial Business Unit (CBU). The Account Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Account Executives and contributing to the success of the New Logo Sales Team. The Account Specialist is expected to conduct themselves as a salesperson, operate with a sense of urgency, carry themselves as a trusted advisor and source of expertise for the Account Executives and prospects.Onit's Commercial Business Unit Account Specialists receive outstanding training, support, and mentoring from proven sales leaders and an impressive broader team of sales and marketing practitioners. With this enablement and encouragement, our Account Specialists often move into Account Executives roles that involve closing. But, the Account Specialist position itself is central to Onits success, so first things first. New opportunities will emerge after Account Specialists prove themselves in this crucial role. Job Location:
  • Remote - this role will support West Coast clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities and progress
  • Conduct outreach to targeted prospects, as well as following up with MQLs/MELs within their territory
  • Coordinate follow-up activities and ensure timely communications with prospects
  • Assist in preparing and delivering presentations, demos and proposals
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities within Salesforce, including discovery meeting notes and next steps
  • Store proposals, draft agreements and final documents in secure locations per team guidelines
  • Assist in identifying and prospecting potential clients within the assigned territory
  • Engage with prospects through calls, emails and presentations to introduce Onit Commercial Business Unit (CBU) solutions
  • Maintain engagement with prospects using creative follow-up communication
  • Provide administrative support for sponsored events, including but not limit to contacting potential venues, ordering gifts for attendees, following up with attendees to confirm attendance, outreach to prospects and attend event when necessary
  • Support the development of strong relationships with leads and prospects to understand their needs and challenges
  • Collaborate with the AE to tailor solutions that address client-specific requirements
  • Gather market intelligence and client feedback to contribute to refining sales strategies
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to provide valuable insights
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1 years of professional work experience, ideally customer-facing and involving selling.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This is a must!
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products particularly Word and PowerPoint.
  • Empathy, integrity, and genuine curiosity about people. You are an outstanding listener.
  • Storytelling orientation. Regardless of context - you like telling people about things.
  • You adapt and thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments. You think on your feet.
  • Detail-oriented and organized. Youve proven you can prioritize competing interests.
