Salary: $42,000 - $52,000/Annually

Evergreen Business Services (EBS) is an Evergreen Cooperatives company that provides a suite of back-office services to support the operations and growth of new and existing Evergreen portfolio companies.
The EBS Client Services Team provides:
Cooperative businesses development
Back-office services including, but not limited to Human Resources and Accounting
Business administration, operations, and management services
Cooperative ownership training and support
Investment capital management
Position Overview
Provide administrative, event planning, customer service, project management and process documentation support to the Client Services team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Office Management
Answer general phone line and direct inquiries as needed
Retrieve, respond, or forward EBS general voicemails and website inquiries
Project Management for consulting engagements
Travel Coordination
Landlord communication – obtain keys, request maintenance, etc.
Manage front callbox extensions w/ vendor & landlord
Security – manage the security company, answer calls for security alarm, update or assign security codes as needed
I.T. Support – serve as liaison between end-users and I.T. Support Firm
Furniture orders – coordinate with furniture vendor for all office furniture needs
Order/Coordinate food orders for meetings, setup and cleanup
Coordinate larger meetings and facility tours
Create or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as needed
Manage office calendar and conference room schedules as needed
Office Cleaning contact for interior and exterior upkeep
Office Supply Ordering – order all office and cleaning supplies
Human Resources
Provide assistance with new hire employee orientations
Assist with Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and other programs
Assist with bi-monthly Employee Resource Group meetings
Assist with training: Safety, new hire, etc.
Attend networking / community hiring events
Construct and send certified letters to employees
General employee documents filing
Provide general HR support to Cooperatives, as needed
Other duties, as assigned
Culture & Wealth Building
Assist with training:
Financial Literacy
Great Game of Business Huddles (GGOB)
Continuing Education Courses
Assist with Benefits Administration
Provide Co-op assistance as needed:
Employee-owner documentation and binder preparation
Preparation for and support of quarterly Co-op Meetings
Support Board of Directors (and sub-committee) meetings
Accounting
Provide Accounts Payable (A/P) Assistance
General A/P and employee documents filing
Maintain billing logs for consulting engagements
Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the HR Director
Job Qualifications
Proven success in the following job competencies:

General Software and technology proficiency (experience w/ Microsoft Office 365 preferred)

Problem solving and decision-making skills
Work Experience
A 4-year college degree is preferred, appropriate work experience considered

Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods of time
Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach daily
Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering paperwork, and using the telephone.
