The Greater Cleveland RTA is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Detailed DescriptionProvide administrative support to the Engineering and Project Management Division including but not limited to filing, processing invoices, running reports, entering purchase requisitions, maintaining supply inventory, assisting in scheduling meetings, and other administrative support duties. Processing pays applications, purchase requisitions, and specifications. Managing filing, archiving, and all project-related documentation. Collecting and moving grant time bi-weekly.
Job RequirementsMinimum Requirements: A high school diploma is required. Three years of administrative assistance experience. Knowledge of appropriate computer software: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Oracle. Valid driver's license.

Environmental Conditions: This person will work in both an office and garage type of environment.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, or stand for up to 8 or more hours a day. The employee may be required to work at a computer video display terminal for more than 5 hours a day.
Mental Demands: Reading, watching, studying, observing, focused listening, auditing, inspecting, proofreading, evaluating. Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, and prepare written materials. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policy, procedures, and data.
Selection Process: This is a non-bargaining exempt-level position. Merit system rules do not apply. No Eligible list will be established. The selection process will include one or more components to demonstrate applicants knowledge, skills, and abilities in job-related areas. These may include exercises such as practical demonstrations, written communications, oral interviews, and/or competency assessments.
