Endicott Call Centers is Hiring a Remote Director – Human Resources (Fully Remote but must reside in one of these states: AZ, FL, IN, NC, NV, PA, TN, TX, IL)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Director – Human Resources to lead and direct the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and developing HR direct reports, employee relations management, leave of absence administration, organizational education on HR subject matter and leading and/or participating cross functional projects as HR subject matter expert.

As the Director – Human Resources, you will manage our HR Generalist and HR Assistant teams, work closely with senior leadership, our contact center operations team, and our Recruiting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support fully remote team of HR Generalists and Assistants.
  • Provide guidance to Generalist team pertaining to complex/specialized circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigations, corrective action, and terminations.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department including but not limited to the HR ticketing process for team member requests.
  • Create learning and development opportunities for HR team members.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Proactively seek knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law for multi-state organization.
  • Plan, monitor, and review HR policies, processes, and practices to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and consistency of application.
  • Maintain complaint team member handbook by regularly preparing, updating, and distributing policy updates.
  • Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process provides positive experience for new team members current and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision.
  • Partner with the management team to provide HR support to the business as it relates to performance management, team member retention, leaves of absence and training.
  • Handle confidential matters with discretion.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new HR team members.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handle corrective action and termination of team members as appropriate and in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS/HRMS systems.
  • Must be able to work in collaborative environment. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

Required

  • Ten (10) years of human resources experience in a generalist and or business partner role and a minimum of five years managing a team of HR Generalists.
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience with predominately non-exempt population within a multi-state organization.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Center Human Resources experience.
  • SPHR, PHR or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
