The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) is responsible for the administrative duties and data management for the HR department while working closely with other members of the team to support the overall mission of the Clinic. The HRC will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and will assist the HR Director to carry out responsibilities in the various HR functional areas including but not limited to Compensation, Benefits & Wellbeing, Culture, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Employment Law and Regulations, HR Technology and Talent Management. SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing the administrative day-to-day duties and data management for the HR department and works closely with other members of the team supporting the overall mission of the organization. This position serves as the primary point of contact for employees and assists the HR Director to carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Compensation, Benefits and Wellbeing; Culture, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Employment Law and Regulations; HR Technology; Talent Management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with internal and external HR-related inquiries
Administer compensation and benefit plans including annual open enrollment
Administer Worker’s Compensation and employee leaves of absence
Serve as subject matter expert in HRIS and promote a Self-Service environment
Organize, maintain and update employee records and databases, electronic and paper
Administer annual corporate compliance initiatives including but not limited to performance evaluations, training, TB, Flu, etc.
Implement and interpret policy and procedures; Provide guidance and counsel to SLT and employees
Execute off-boarding procedures for all employees
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment; adhere to the Joint Commission standards as it relates to the Human Resources chapter
Reconcile/validate data entry to ensure data integrity
Support routine reporting and data requests on HR metrics; create effective reports and presentations
Serve as a liaison between employees and third party vendors to resolve issues as needed
May support company-sponsored employee events as directed
Perform other duties as required and assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to uphold Children’s Clinics values and alignment with mission
Knowledge of fundamental concepts and regulatory requirements in Human Resources
Skill and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS including software, and other relevant technology applications
Ability to maintain a customer-focused attitude, with high level of engagement, professionalism and discretion
Skill in demonstrating initiative, integrity, sound judgement, strong work ethic, and good communication
Skill in multi-tasking, time management, organization, and working in a fast-paced environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) AND five years of experience in Human Resources OR Associates degree in human resources, finance, business management orrelated field AND 3 years of experience in Human Resources
Bachelor’s preferred
Experience:
Three or more years of relevant experience in Human Resources; Hands-on Experience with HRIS systems
Experience in healthcare preferred
Licenses and Certificates:
None required
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

Employees are required to maintain a current Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Proof of a current fingerprint clearance card must be received within 90 days of employment.
