Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. You will work closely with our culinary team to create delicious and innovative dishes for our restaurant, catering events, banquets, and more. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for Italian food, and a creative approach to culinary arts.

Duties:

- Plan and create menus that meet the needs and preferences of our guests

- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes using different cooking techniques

- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in accordance with quality standards

- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper food handling and preparation techniques

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction

- Oversee catering and event operations as required

- Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a restaurant

- Strong knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and kitchen management

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Proficient in various cooking techniques and Italian cuisines

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is preferred

- English is required for this position, knowledge of Spanish is also preferred

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
