Customer Service Representative (817834) Bloomington, MN

Humera is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our FORTUNE 500 manufacturing client in Bloomington, MN. This is a great entry-level supply chain opportunity with a company that has deep Minnesota roots and a global presence.

This is a contract opportunity. Training is fully onsite for the first week, and then the role is work from home as performance permits.

Only local candidates will be considered.

Duties :

• Receive customer orders via phone, email, fax, Internet, customer portals, or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
• Enter data for new orders, make changes to existing orders and complete required order acknowledgement and customer correspondence in order entry system
• Research customer requests or complaints regarding product availability, shipment, quantity, price, delivery and lead-time
• Coordinate efforts between sales people, engineering, plants and shipping to fulfill customer requests in a timely manner as needed

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree preferred and at least 1-year experience in a manufacturing customer service role
• Demonstrated experience as a proactive problem solver
• Ability to prioritize and stay on task
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Oracle experience preferred
• Critical thinking, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
• Experience with EDI orders is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and follow-through on work assigned
• Demonstrated organization skills and data entry accuracy are required
