Community Resources For Justice is a unique, 140 year old nonprofit organization headquartered in Boston, that provides direct care as well as research/consulting services within the areas of the Mental Health and the Criminal Justice/Public Policy field. The Support Specialist will manage IT tickets (phone and remote support) and Ovorsee IT inventory (intake, maintenance, and shipping)
The Support Specialist Duties/Responsibilities:
· Provides users with software and hardware support with Windows OS computers and MS Office Professional software.
· Provides Tier 1 remote support to users.
· Provides basic software training to staff as needed (e.g. login passwords, multi-factor authentication, MS Office Professional applications)
· Setup mobile devices to interact with Microsoft Exchange email, calendars and contacts.
· Troubleshoot and identify issues with copiers, printers, scanners, and resolve or escalate issues internally or externally.
· Performs maintenance on equipment according to maintenance schedule and as needed
