Responsibilities and Skills

• Assist with menu planning
• Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new supplies
• Detailed oriented and strong organizational abilities
• Ensures FIFO food rotation system and proper labeling and dating of product
• Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards
• Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment
• Time-management skills
• Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality/standards
• Ability to perform proactively to decrease waste and budgetary concerns
