The Accounting Team is hiring a Senior Accountant who can assist in supporting the team and help CLEAR grow towards accomplishing daily responsibilities. The below details breakdown the skills needed.

What you'll do:

• Perform month-end close activities including processing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, audit schedules, etc.
• Lead accounting operations for our new TSA precheck product
• Liaise with FP&A, Airport Operations & other departments for financial information
• Assist on special projects & ad hoc assignments as needed
• Help support overall team initiatives to embrace change and increase efficiency by instituting new processes around various key accounting areas
• Assist with our quarterly financial statement filings and annual financial statement audit process

How you’ll measure success:

• Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue, taking into account any associated Cost of Sales relevant to revenue-sharing arrangements
• Meet established deadlines for monthly and annual financial reporting, providing a comprehensive view that incorporates both revenue and associated costs
• Audit Compliance: Demonstrate successful support for internal and external audits, providing well-documented and easily accessibleinformation related to key areas

What you’re great at:

• Understanding of revenue recognition principles, including knowledge of relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606) and experience with handling complex revenue transactions
• Analyze data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems related to revenue recognition, billing, and financial reporting
• Attention to detail in reviewing contracts, invoices, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Communicating, especially articulating complex financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as legal, sales, and operations

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units
