CD - Chem-Dry is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Nashville, TN
Chem-Dry part of BELFOR Franchise Group has an opportunity for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist in the Nashville area. The position provides efficient customer service to support payment requirements in accordance with company guidelines to minimize financial risk. This position is responsible for audit of Account Payable entries, review and process of weekly check runs. Process receivables timely and accurately and support the Accounts Payable team during month end process. This position will be responsible for training of new team members on accepted BELFOR processes. May be required to travel, less than 10%.

- Become the SME on Belfor Accounts Payable and Receivable Processes
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
- Provide clear direction and follow through for issue resolution
- Coordinate and provide documentation as requested

Requirements:- Audit Accounts Payable entries timely and accurately
- Review and Process weekly check runs
- Ensure payment selected for processing adheres to company and regulatory guidelines
- Process receivables timely and accurately
- Responsible for training of new team members internal to Corporate as well as field offices
- Handle special projects and losses as required
- Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
- Attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property and information
- Attend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses as required
- Knowledge of basic accounting
- Work in a dynamic team environment and support multiple functions
- Exercise independent judgment in an ethical manner
- Adherence to processes and procedures Work under time constraints to meet specific deadlines
- Ability to follow up on pending issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with Microsoft Office; highly proficient in Excel
- Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task

- Takes initiative and can be the lead on projects
- Mastered use of accounting system and tools
- Completed special projects and tasks with efficiency and accuracy
- Occasional lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted (from 0-15% of the time)
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks
- The ability to bend, crouch, or stand as necessary.
