We are looking to hire a high energy, hardworking, team player to join our Sales Development Organization. As a Sales Development Rep, you will start learning our business from day one from our Rochester, New York Headquarters. Within our interactive learning and training environment, you will receive the guidance, mentoring, and support you need to be successful! Sales Development Representatives focus on targeted prospecting to create sales opportunities for selling partners. Consult with potential clients, leveraging expertise in Calero products and services. You will thrive in our entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Sales Development Rep, you will conduct calls with perspective clients and set appointments for both our Mid-Market and Enterprise Sales teams through outbound targeted telephone sales. This is done by building rapport with prospects by nurturing and conducting engaging conversations through the sales cycle. Articulates competitive advantages by highlighting our differentiators and has an expertise in overall value proposition tied to Calero’s suite of products and services. Effectively manage open opportunities and maintain data updates within the CRM (salesforce.com) to ensure an effective pipeline is being nurtured. This entry level position will allow you to eventually become an Account Executive as part of our career path.
Must be comfortable with cold calling.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1 years of Appointment Setting or inside sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills (following script-60-75 calls/day)
  • Proven history of work ethic and exceeding goals
  • Must be professional
  • Must be organized

The hourly wage for this position is $22.00-$25.00 plus commission. Please note that the top of the salary range represents exceptional, and/or senior-level positions, that meets all required qualifications. Actual offers take candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience into account. Base Pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
