Budinger & Associates assists clients in the planning and execution of successful projects. We provide environmental and geotechnical investigation and construction as well as materials testing and related engineering services. We have served the greater Inland Northwest Region since 1976.
Overview:
We are seeking a business development lead who can drive measurable results. Our ideal candidate will achieve this by strengthening client relationships, seeking out potential business opportunities, successfully communicating our services, and being a superior representative of the company. They will also work closely and communicate with various departments within the company.
Duties include:
· Knowing and effectively communicating the services Budinger and Associates has to offer.
· Nurturing and maintaining relationships with clients by attending proposal bid meetings, organizational meetings, and other networking events.
· Submit accurate RFQs (Request for Quotes) and SOQs (State of qualifications) to agencies and potential clients.
· Identifying and researching potential clients.
· Identifying solicitations via newspapers, plan centers, or other websites for requests for proposals, requests for quotes, and statements of qualifications and creating responses based on the criteria outlined in the solicitation.
· Developing growth strategies and plans for the company to help maintain and grow existing leads.
· Working to maintain a good public image of the company.
· Maintaining and keeping social media up-to-date. (Website, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
· Creating promotional marketing materials/items and distributing them at events.
· Attending professional development events.
· Generation of written and video project stories highlighting the various services we provide.
· Responsible for driving measurable business results, which will include posting articles about jobs, prospecting clients, and collecting client feedback.

Experience and qualifications required:
· A High School diploma or equivalent. A four-year degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Finance, or similar is preferred.
· At least 2 years of experience in a business development role, customer service, marketing, or sales-related field is preferred.
· Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential.
· Sharp negotiation and networking skills.
· Clear verbal and written communication skills.
· A proven record of growing sales or other related business metrics.
· Some local travel.
· Pre-employment background check and drug and alcohol test.
· Valid driver’s license.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
