Hiring Development Director

We are a nonprofit that has been around for 35 years providing exemplary programs for families and an encouraging and fulfilling work environment for staff. Summary: This position has primary responsibility for securing sufficient funds to realize the Board’s goals and objectives, both capital and programmatic. The Development Director is responsible for building and executing the development plan, which may include major gifts, corporate donations, grant solicitations, planned giving, special events and in-kind resources. The Development Director is also responsible for all external communications, including outreach, education, social media, public relations, marketing, and event management. A large portion of this job is grant-writing and grant management/reporting. This position is the only position in Development; there are no other staff in Development reporting to the Development Director.

3. Coordinate staff and volunteer development activities
