We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes following precise recipes and food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow proper food handling techniques and ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain workstations before, during, and after service
- Assist with menu planning and contribute to creating new dishes
Experience:
- Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and food preparation
- Understanding of food safety practices and proper knife skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
