Boqueria® Restaurants is on a mission to find an Assistant to the CEO with a proven track record in the facilitation of administrative processes and systems to support our CEO and executive team.
Boqueria is a Spanish tapas restaurant group, with 10 locations spread throughout NYC and major cities in the Eastern part of the United States. Boqueria is expanding, and this position will require some occasional travel to support restaurants outside of New York City.
Are you our Assistant to the CEO?
The Assistant to the CEO plays a critical role by helping maximize the CEO and Executive Team’s effectiveness. The Assistant to the CEO must maintain a high level of confidentiality and helps coordinate meeting and communication rhythms to ensure appropriate communication is maintained so that the CEO has an organized schedule.
The Assistant to the CEO will provide administration support by preparing reports and presentations, handling information requests, preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, coordinating conference calls, and scheduling meetings.

Here’s the kind of work you’ll get to do:
Assist in the preparation of communication materials for board meetings, staff updates, and external stakeholder engagements.
Compile and synthesize business data from various departments to create comprehensive performance reports for the CEO’s review.
Manage the CEO’s calendar meticulously (scheduling appointments, receiving visitors, coordinating conference calls, scheduling meetings, etc.) and ensure an optimal allocation of the CEO’s time based on priorities and commitments.
Arrange all aspects of travel, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries, to ensure efficient and comfortable trips.
Handle personal administrative duties discreetly, such as coordinating personal appointments, managing household matters, or organizing personal events.
Support with scheduling and execution of events in the Home Office (celebrations, meetings, trainings, etc.)
Attend all Executive Team and Board Meetings, prepare minutes, and manage all follow-up communication.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an executive support role with a high demand for communication and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint & Excel
Proficiency with project management software, particularly Asana.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Interest in and understanding of the restaurant industry.
Ability to embody and articulate the brand vision internally.
Highly Preferred:
Experience working in the restaurant or food and beverage industry.
Experience preparing Board, investor, and other critical presentations.
Experience coordinating interdepartmental planning processes
