The Role
The Insights team is an integral and fast expanding and global department within Bally's Interactive, working with multiple teams across the business. As a Business Analyst working on our North America business, you will support operational and marketing teams by using data to provide support across promotional and marketing activity.
With an abundance of data at our disposal, we pride ourselves on giving our analysts the freedom to explore new software and analytical techniques to produce the best outcomes possible. Our friendly and knowledgeable team is always on hand to provide guidance, brainstorm ideas and help teach new concepts and ideas. This role reports to the Director of Analytics within our North America Insights and Marketing teams.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a minimum of two years' working with SQL. Commercial experience using SQL or BigQuery is required and experience using R and Python is advantageous. Experience working with CRM, acquisition or product teams is preferred.
What You Will Do
- Use SQL to produce data from multiple sources to enable operational teams to reward players, send out campaigns and target key cohorts.
- Uploading cohorts to Adobe, Braze and other marketing tools as necessary.
- Communicate with stakeholders and support them in their roles.
- Work with stakeholders to improve our processes and the way we work.
Desired Skills
- A minimum of two years' experience working with SQL in an analytical role.
- Excellent modeling, analytical and numerical capabilities
- Expert knowledge of SQL, Tableau and Microsoft Excel
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to stakeholders up to board level
- High attention to detail
- Organized with proven success working under tight deadlines
