Position Summary

Credit One Bank is looking for a Business Analyst to support the overall growth of the organization. This position will be responsible for data management and analysis specific for credit bureau reporting or the bank, as well as requirements gathering, testing, and implementation of projects. The ideal candidate embraces the opportunity to collaborate and facilitate meetings with leaders across C1B and Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs), working on high-visibility, strategic reporting, and analysis. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and should be able to convey technical information to non-technical professionals.

Summary Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for understanding all applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills; able to convey technical information to non-technical and technical professionals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders from across operations to identify information needs and priorities.
• Ability to lead others in the utilization and optimization of data analysis and management tools.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of C1B data sent and received from the CRAs, by developing deep understanding of the data, and identify opportunities to improve C1B reporting.
• Implement solutions for best-in-class data management practices to ensure accurate, reliable, and well documented data and reports.
• Answer Credit Bureau Auriemma survey questions and summarize all CB Auriemma surveys for management. Attend Auriemma Credit Bureau roundtables as appropriate. Benchmark other financial institutions as appropriate.
• Facilitate meetings between C1B and Credit Reporting Agencies and/or other furnishers.
• Partner with multiple stakeholders to develop high quality deliverables across all phases of a project (from identifying and defining process flows and use cases to user acceptance testing).
• Ability to lead others in the utilization and optimization of data analysis and management tools.
• Able to create Epics, User stories and articulate requirements to the development team.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
• Support, maintain, and document internal processes.
• Maintain compliance standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Ability to quickly assimilate and analyze large amounts of information, identify trends, challenges, or gaps.
• Passion to learn new technologies and contribute to organization growth.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
• Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity.

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of Metro-2 Reporting standards and relevant fields through taking CDIA training classes.
• Understanding of FDR/Fiserv fields, CAS, CRA Tradelines/bullseyes, and CASH
