Responsibilities Areas

• Perform general ledger month-end closing and reconciliation Journal entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain financial reporting and reporting for assigned accounts.
• Prepare financial information and supporting schedules on a monthly basis.
• Analyze deal/trade related entries to ensure they are recorded appropriately.
• Reconciliation of trading system to accounting system on monthly basis.
• Prepare management reports and ad hoc reports as required.
• Identify and reconcile any discrepancies volumetric or financial.
• Ensure internal controls compliance.
• Assist with analyzing financial information, including gross profit analysis.
• Assist with annual financial and tax audits.
• Assist other team members in settlements, treasury, tax and compliance as needed.
• Special projects as assigned.

Skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in accounting.
• 6 years accounting experience mix of public and industry experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the energy trading industry preferred.
