Miami, Florida - Hybrid
Proficient in Accounts Payable? ARC Group is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Miami-based client. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Our client is a Fortune 500 company experiencing rapid growth. This contract is initially for 3 months with potential for extension based on demand. The position offers a hybrid work model, with in-office presence required Mondays through Thursdays, and remote work permitted on Fridays.
Job Description for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Verify vendor invoices against manifests and pricing sheets.
- Generate and input purchase orders into the internal accounting system, ensuring accurate allocation to the appropriate GL and cost center.
- Assist in resolving disputes or inquiries related to invoices and manifests.
- Conduct account reconciliations with suppliers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate and oversee deposit and final payment processes with suppliers.
- Monitor expenses and accrue necessary adjustments for month-end closing procedures.
- Utilize internal accounting tools to identify discrepancies between costs and revenues/profits.
- Conduct research and analysis on competitor pricing to inform strategic decision-making.
- Track and monitor differences in subsidies between projected and actual cost
- A minimum of three years of experience in Accounts Payable is necessary for this role.
- While a Bachelor's degree is preferred, a high school diploma is required.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential.
- The ability to work 4 days in the office with the 5th day remote is required.
