Allen Allen Allen & Allen is Hiring a Director of Human Resources Near Richmond, VA

The Allen Law Firm, a leader in protecting the injured for generations, is seeking a motivated Director of Human Resources adept in supporting growing organizations to manage full life-cycle employee administration of the Firm, including recruitment, retention, employee relations, and policy adherence. Ideal candidates routinely demonstrate initiative, excellent communication and persuasion skills, and operate as a human-centric leader, comfortable taking on various responsibilities and working with both internal and external stakeholders.

As our Director of Human Resources, you will:

  • Develop, outline, and implement strategic HR initiatives that support and drive the Firm's goals
  • Manage Employee Relations issues and initiatives Firmwide, including performance coaching, professional development plans, facilitation of exit interviews and other conversations regarding organizational assessments
  • Lead Human Resource Department, overseeing day-to-day functions of the Benefits, Talent Management, and Training and Development teams by providing visibility and guidance as to the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field
    • Masters Degree preferred
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Human Resource Management experience working in the legal field or other related professional services organization (advertising, finance, etc.)
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred
  • Willingness to travel in-between offices throughout the Commonwealth at a determined cadence
