ChildSavers is Hiring a Director of Human Resources Near Richmond, VA

ChildSavers, a dynamic nearly 100-year-old child development and mental health agency, is seeking an experienced executive to lead its human resources functions. The Director of Human Resources (DHR) will be responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive human resources strategy to attract and retain diverse talent for the agency. ChildSavers is a growing organization of 80 employees and contract staff. Simply put, we are seeking an individual that will bring world-class thinking, a working knowledge of people/process best practices, and the demonstrated ability to assist with the growth and development of a strong culture. Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s or law degree highly preferred
  • 7 to 10 years of human resource management experience required (including strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred)
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred
  • Knowledge of property management & accreditation are preferred
  • Must demonstrate thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Must have knowledge of (and experience with) various human resource information systems
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supervisory, and leadership skills
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be proficient within all platforms of Microsoft 365
Salary Range
$85,000-$110,000 / annually
