Job Purpose:
This entry level position requires an ambitious self-starter and someone that can effectively process inbound inquiries and identify qualified leads and opportunities. Relationship selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels of customer accounts, are essential.
- Analyzing and expanding business operations toward sustained growth.
- Monitoring revenue streams and identifying opportunities to increase profitability.
- Evaluating and improving sales, marketing, and branding strategies.
- Performing competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share.
- Developing client relationships and strengthening industry partnerships.
- Negotiating and closing business deals.
- Identifying new clients by researching and creating networking opportunities.
- Performing other duties and support as required or assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Business development Specialist in a related industry.
- Experience in identifying profitable business opportunities and potential clients.
- Competency in negotiating and closing business deals.
- Ability to maintain strong client relationships and establish industry partnerships.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Bid experience in the construction industry.
- Construction experience preferred.
- Traffic Control experience preferred.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Requires lifting and carrying of up to 25lb or less.
