Currently we are looking for an office person, an office manager, executive management, accounting supervisor, one person that can do this multitude of functions and make sure they get done by the office team.
This position might also be called Executive Manager. This position can put you in one of the top five positions that run the company.
Accounting type Duties.
Make sure the financial reports are up to date and compliant with standards.
Activity updates that check top management spending and annual budgets.
Monitor the production of financial reports and proper saving of those reports.
Distribute reports appropriately.
Executive accounting project management
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Provide recommendations on all office functions.
Have a proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standards, laws and regulations.
Learn our HR procedures and be able to fill in when needed for any position.
Make certain the job cost accounting is accurate and up to date.
Verify that financial and accounting objectives are met.
Management Duties
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including AR, AP, collection, invoicing, general ledger, payroll, revenues and expenditure etc.
Coordinate annual audits.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Assigned projects and direct staff to ensure accuracy.
Establish and maintain files and records.
Ability to train, direct and supervise.
Keep everything in the office running smoothly.
Requires Skills
Able to deal with all kinds of people.
Proven working experience and skills with MS office, accounting software, and databases.
Outlook, excel, word, etc.
An understanding of QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Work with IT functions.
Work with HR functions.
High attention to, accuracy, down to minute details while managing from the thousand-foot level.
Willing to fill in and wear many hats.
Responsibilities
Must be able to put the company first.
Must not have personal commitments that would interfere with working at any time.
Working long hours when needed.
Increase profit lower overhead.
Qualifications
10 or more years of executive management experience.
Bachelors degree.
3 years of experience working in a construction type company.
Additional Qualifications are a plus.
Extensive knowledge in the field of technology systems installations.
Accounting for Construction, AIA billing etc.....
Experience and proficiency with Simpro Software
Government Contracting
RCDD Certificate
Project Estimating experience.
