Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring efficiency and productivity. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events
- Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping
- Handle incoming calls and emails, providing excellent phone etiquette
- Develop and implement training programs for new employees
- Oversee front desk operations, including greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate department
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage office contracts
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Perform general clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role with a construction company
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) MUST HAVE Quickbooks Online experience using this day to day (We will test for skill set on Quickbooks and MS Office prior to hiring)
- Experience working in a construction company
