Come join the CIBH team. Duties will include:
Schedule appointments and add documentation to the electronic medical record system.
Knowledge of scheduling for MH/SA clinic and ability to run reports and make reminder/follow-up phone calls.
Ability to communicate effectively, use basic math skills and must have good organizational skills.
Ability to read and respond to scheduling requests received.
Enters data in the electronic health record and in mainframe, ability to generate reports.
Answer rollover calls and have ability to provide excellent customer service to diverse population.
Attend staff meetings and supervision as required.
Serve as backup support to other clerical team members.
Provide occasional coverage to switchboard and after-hours front desk areas.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications VOCATIONAL / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT : Requires a high school diploma or GED and any combination of education and experience equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education in word processing, secretarial skills, or a closely related field. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT : " In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this class requires a minimum of three years of full-time equivalent experience in administrative support. SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES : Depending on departmental operational requirements, may require valid driver's license and driving record in compliance with City Driving Standards. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies. Emergency operations support work and work locations may be outside of normal job duties. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Electronic Medical Records, experience with customer service, ability to assist a diverse population. Continuously, must be computer literate Ability to assess situation/problem, gather information and process/manage as applicable Have Basic Math Skills
