TITLE: Administrative Assistant to the Assistant SuperintendentREPORTS TO:Assistant SuperintendentJOB GOAL: The Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the administrative support for the Assistant Superintendent and the School Administrative Unit. QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalentAssociates Degree preferredMaintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detailMust demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and willingness to contribute to a busy Central Office TeamExperience with Microsoft and Google suite products RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Assist the Assistant Superintendent with a wide range of administrative tasksMaintain the district’s system and online tool (Frontline/My Learning Plan) for all Professional Development activitiesArrange, prepare the agenda/reports, and take minutes for the monthly Professional Development Committee MeetingsArrange, prepare the agenda/reports, and take minutes for the monthly recertification meetingsCreate professional staff observation document for district wide administratorsCreate, maintain, and share list of recertification for all licensed staffFile paperwork and maintain filing system of all teacher observations and summative evaluationsArrange, prepare, and record minutes for monthly Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment (CIA) meetingsArrange, prepare, and record minutes for other committees and task forces, as neededIn collaboration with the Assistant Superintendent, stay current with the NHED’s pathways to licensure, coordinate Site-Based Learning Plans, and provide ongoing follow-up to teachers on the completion of plansCreate PARs (Personnel Action Requests) for summer work, evening academy, grant activities, curriculum work, and others as neededIn collaboration with the Assistant Superintendent and District Facilitator, provide administrative support to the district’s mentoring program (Torchbearers)In collaboration with the Assistant Superintendent, help plan, prepare, and provide support for the district’s Professional Development daysIn collaboration with the Assistant Superintendent and Federal Funds Bookkeeper, provide organization and support for grants that follows state and federal requirements, including Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, and other grants as neededCreate Purchase Orders for all accounts as required and requestedIn collaboration with other Central Office Administrative Assistants, provide administrative support to the Central Office including:Open and distribute incoming mailAnswer and route incoming callsGreet visitors who come into Central OfficePerform other duties as assignedThis is a year round non union position.Hours per day: 8Days per week: 5Competitive benefits package, including, but not limited to: Medical/Dental Insurance NH Retirement Leave BenefitsLife InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts403 (b) PlanProfessional Development OpportunitiesEmployee Assistance ProgramPlease apply directly on our district website: www.sau26.orgDO NOT apply on School Spring
