Merrimack High School is looking for a creative, enthusiastic Videography Teacher for an established program. You will provide and develop instruction for video production courses. Classes could include Introduction to Videography, Documentary Filmmaking and Afternoon Film Studio.The ideal candidate will:Understand the Creator Economy, ex. YouTube, Instagram, etc.Assess and report on student progress throughout the year.Maintain the appropriate use of video equipment and lab space.Manage the selection of instructional materials, technology, and equipment within the program.Work with students on integrating media into the school day.Evaluate student work and guide them toward meaningful projects.Keep up to date with current trends, tools and best practices relating to digital storytelling and multimedia projects.Oversee students with our school news show, “What’s Up Merrimack”, and the 7th Annual Film Festival.
