QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• High school education or equivalent
• CompTIA or other IT support certification a plus
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes: Incident, Request, Change, Problem Management
• 3 or more years IT experience in a support role with end users
• Intermediate understanding of end user devices (PCs, Laptops, Mobile devices) and software.
• Basic understanding of Identity & Access Management systems (Active Directory, Okta)
• Working knowledge of basic Service Desk operations and toolsets (Jira, ServiceNow, Remedy).
• The ability to think and solve problems
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to read and comprehend technical material, e.g. vendor supplied documentation.
• The ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing first-line investigation and diagnosis (triage) for all IT incidents and requests.
• Print, prepare, and inspect output before it is forwarded to others. Deliver output as appropriate.
• Monitor work in process and ensure production workflow deadlines are met.
• Resolving incidents/service requests when first contacted whenever possible, and quickly escalating to the correct teams when necessary
• Keeping end users informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages etc
• Operate computer peripheral equipment, consider optimum machine utilization, and perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Last mile deployment of end user hardware and software
