SummaryProvides both operations and office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects. Person will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The admin job scope includes communicating via phone and email ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Job Responsibilities
Provide professional administrative support to managers, supervisors, and other departments.
Knowledge of and experience with customer service. Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
Prepare, maintain, and manage operations schedules and correspondences.
Tracking of inbound freight to ensure the on-time arrival of product, via email, phone and internet.
Timely follow-up of priority orders and delivery appointments.
Help prepare weekly reports and other departmental projects as needed.
Reviewing/answering emails.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others collaboratively in a teamwork environment.
Provide general support to visitors
Special Projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
2-4 plus years of hands on administrative-clerical support experience.
High school diploma or equivalency required
Worked in operations-manufacturing setting before.
Textile/apparel industry is a plus
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook a must
Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
Solid communication skills
Proactive / self-starter; works well in a team
Excellent management skills including planning, organizing, decision making, motivating and leading with a high degree of interpersonal skills
Must have strong proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet design and maintenance, navigating in databases, and creating presentations
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate and provide guidance to all employee levels.
Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Requires detail orientation and attention
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
Must be able to work extended hours when need to.
