Vitalograph is Hiring an US Healthcare Business Development Manager Near Lenexa, KS

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and identifying opportunities within a defined region for potential business development in new and existing customer accounts
  • Product demonstration across the range of Vitalograph product offerings as required within the defined territory

3. Communication and liaison with distribution partners as required to provide information and assistance to capture opportunities

  • Market intelligence gathering to report back on regulatory issues, customer wants, emerging trends, competitive offerings and distributor performance
  • Systematic reporting of all contacts, opportunities, and communications into the CRM system daily
  • Attendance at trade shows and other regional or national events to represent Vitalograph and promote the value of the products
  • Annual forecasting of revenue growth and execution within the territory revenue to meet this projection
  • Submission of regular monthly operational reports detailing locations, activity, and strategy
  • Basic site troubleshooting and coordination with Service and Support
  • Basic inventory management of demo equipment and supplies


Educational requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a medical or business-related field preferred

3. Respiratory care certification or other medical certification preferred


Outline of skills required:

  • Deep knowledge of the range of Vitalograph equipment and ability to demonstrate them expertly and regularly
  • Ability to recognize buy signs and overcome objections while crafting the best solution to the customer’s needs
  • Specific knowledge of respiratory diagnostics in depth, and ability to speak to these topics easily and accurately
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Healthcare ecosystem within the chosen target territory
  • Self-motivated and ability to hunt new prospects
  • Cultivation of a network of customer contacts and ability to build credibility based on product value, professional competence, customer service, and the philosophy of being a resource to them
  • Ability to present well in multiple environments, including live or virtual and alone or with distribution partners
  • Open and frequent communication with Management, Warehouse, Technical Service, and Customer Service to maintain excellent alignment of expectations
  • Excellent discipline and decision making to maximize the ROI for all activities requiring expenses
  • Basic site troubleshooting ability and coordination of assistance if required
