Job Description:

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and negotiating and closing business deals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen understanding of the home repair and maintenance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop growth strategies and plans to increase the company’s market share.
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
• Promote the company’s services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
• Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
• Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a business development representative, sales person, or a relevant role.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Market knowledge of the home repair and maintenance industry would be helpful.
• Communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly.
• Time management and planning skills.

Compensation:

• Salary and commission in the range of $55,000 to $70,000
