Description Position Description: The Data and Technology Manager develops procedures and policies for data collection, retention, and security, ensuring that the company meets industry best practices. They work closely with other staff to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data. Other duties include review of all data and cybersecurity insurance policies, improving and streamlining data systems within the company, driving innovation in the use of company data systems, and ensuring that information to and from the company runs timely and securely.

MISSION: CBPs Office of the Chief Medical Office (OCMO) employs a family medicine model to provide frontline medical care for persons in CBP custody. This model provides a team of medical professionals comprised of physicians, advanced practice providers (e.g., physicians assistants, nurse practitioners), clinical support staff (e.g., Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, Certified Medical/Nursing Assistants), and other support staff (Patient Safety Risk Managers and Electronic Health Records Specialists). These contracted medical teams provide basic assessment and medical treatment for persons in CBP custody to include emergency care as needed. OCMO is committed to ensuring a system of care that is ethical, responsible, and accountable through surveillance and monitoring activities that are in place.
Principle Accountabilities: Oversee the collection, storage, management, quality, and protection of data
Develop and implement procedures and policies for effective and secure data management system TVIMS (Team Vighter Information Management System)
Coordinate with and support Communications, Finance, Logistics, Security and Programs functions across the company, especially with data extraction, analysis, reports formulation, and technical support
Troubleshoot database and technology challenges
Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements
Continually develop data management strategies and systems
Implement data privacy policies and compliance with data protection regulations

Education and Experience: Bachelors or Associate degree in information technology or related field; network or cyber certifications may be considered as a substitute
Proven experience in data management or analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms
An analytical mindset with superb communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to organize and decipher large amounts of data
Technology and business analytical skills
Good written and oral business and technology communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team, strong interpersonal skills
Supervisory Controls: Works under the administrative direction of the National Program Director and the Program Manager
Physical Requirements/Working Environment Must be able to sit up to 8 hours per day

Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
